Mangum Hospital installs Kodak CR Classic

Yesterday market the completion of the install and training of a Kodak Directview CR Classic for Mangum Community Hospital. This unit is a perfect fit for a smaller facility like Mangum, offering a cost-effective way to implement digital radiology in their department.

The biggest challenge with this project wasn't technical, training, or experience - it was funding. With the ongoing credit crisis in America, it took us several weeks to find a funding source for the hospital. The deal was small which suprisingly made it even harder. We finally found a leasing company that would do the deal, but they have been much more difficult to work with than past lenders. I guess that is just the new reality for many hospitals and imaging centers. You CAN get funding, it just takes more paperwork and jumping through more hoops to make it happen.
