Wireless DR

Carestream Health recently announced a revolutionairy wireless direct radiography system that we feel will have a major impact on the small to mid-sized hospital market. The new DRX-1 consists of a wireless DR detector with a removable battery. The detector easily slips into your existing x-ray table or wall bucky. When you expose an image, it is transmitted wirelessly in seconds to the DR console.

This new system gives you the benefits of a DR system without tethers, room reconstruction or downtime, while speeding the workflow compared to a traditional CR installation.
