Burn CD’s, not Film $$

Carestream CD Direct software allows you to quickly and easily provide patients with images on inexpensive CD disks rather than expensive x-ray film. Simply click an icon on your PACS workstation screen and images will be sent to the dedicated CD burning station. An optional Rimage 2000i CD burner can print your facility logo, along with patient name and identification number right on the CD for a professional look. Just load up 100 CD’s and the Rimage can go to work, providing automated CD burning for even the busiest facilities.

Images are burned to disk in both DICOM Part 10 format (for compatibility with any PACS system) and with Carestream’s CD Direct viewing software. Images can be viewed on any Windows PC and even loaded into such programs as Photoshop. No more lost films or expensive film copies. Patients can easily carry their images to remote facilities and share them with other caregivers with ease.
